What was the significance or virtue of their
groaning?....
ISRAEL The “Called”
Scriptural References: Genesis 17:7,10; 18:18-19;
Galatians 3:6-7
·
The way of the Lord is by faith and through
faith (by laying hold of things that are invisible; apprehending things that
are impossible, etc.)....
·
His voice IS the Law in our lives now....
·
The way of faith is ALWAYS trusting and believing
(i.e. being in a spot that is vulnerable)....
·
The entire life of Abraham is the definition of
faith (Galatians 3:6-7)....
·
The children of Abraham are the hearers of faith
(i.e. hear and obey His voice)....
The Idolatry Of Israel In Egypt
Scriptural References: Joshua 24:14; Ezekiel
20:5-8; Leviticus 17:1-2,17
·
Remember: Israel had God as their God, but when
they got to Egypt, they completely “lost it”, and became very idolatrous....
·
Remember: Their idolatry was the CAUSE of their
being in bondage....
·
The EFFECT of their idolatry was the unbelief of
the multitudes....
Israel, The “Chosen” – The Remnant

NOTE: He’s always ahead of your worst
nightmare....

“I want to be part of the company of ‘but’”....
·
It costs YOU to be a believer....
Blessed, But No Covenant

·
We have claim to the blessing because of
COVENANT, not just because of the blessing....
·
You can’t cast the devil into hell because hell
hasn’t happened yet....
·
Genesis shows talks about Ishmael....
·
God with us vs. God IN us....
·
Our sins have not just been covered, but they
have been REMOVED....
·
Thought: God WALKED WITH Adam; He didn’t dwell
in him....
·
We lay hold of Him ACCORDING TO WHAT HE SAID....
·
We lay hold of Him because He laid hold of us
first....
But, God Remembered

The remnant (not the nation of Israel) “sighed”
and “cried” out to the Lord because of the bondage (Exodus 2:23-25)....
·
Remember = Bring to mind....
·
Remember that He wrote His word beforehand so
that it would be for our LEARNING and seeing how He operates....
·
When He sees the “bow” in the clouds, He will
remember what He established with us!....
·
When you blow the trumpet, He remembers what He
said to us (Numbers 10:9)....
·
Blow the Trumpet = Covenant....
·
Over and against what we see, we plead His
covenant!....
·
“Groanings which cannot be uttered” is simply
words that come from Him (i.e. calling deep unto deep; Romans 8:26-27)
·
“The will of God” is simply His Covenant with
us....

Remember to CRY COVENANT!....

When we are afflicted, we are to pray, and
prayer REMINDS US of what He said to us....
